A parallelogram is a quadrilateral that has two pairs of equal sides such that the equal sides are opposite to each other.

It has two two pairs of equal angles lie opposite to each other.

Its both diagonals bisect each other.

A kite is also a quadrilateral with two pair of equal sides such that the equal are adjacent to each other. It has only one pair of equal sides. Its only one diagonal bisect the other diagonal.
