(leg)^2+(leg)^2=(hypotenuse)^2

this is how you can find the hypotenuse.

say the leg is 17 and 32 you would do this:

(17)^2+(32)^2=(x)^2   - make the hypotenuse x

289 + 1024 =x^2

1313=x^2

then you find square root of 1313 to get x

x = 36.2
