Consider the equation: ay^{2} -x^{2} y+x^{2}=b

let a = 4 and b = 10. find the two x-intercepts and tell whether the tangents to the x-intercepts are parallel, perpendicular, or neither.

i believe that the x-intercepts are ±\sqrt{10}, but i'm not sure how to go about the second part of the question. any would be appreciated!
