(attached picture is the equation with what i have done so far). so basically, i need to solve the equation x^2-6x+2=0 with the quadratic equation. the problem is, once i simplify all i can, i’m left with sqrt28, which is not a perfect square! i would do something like, for example: sqrt20 = 2sqrt5, but the factors of 28 are 7 and 3, neither of which neither are perfect squares! could someone ? ?
