A yardstick shows 36 inches. There are 36 inches in a yard. A Meter stick shows 100 centimeters. There are 100 centimeters in a meter. A tape measure can shows inches and centimeters. Rulers often shows both inches and centimeters. Many rulers show 12 inches. This is equal to 1 foot. Why is it easier to measure the ribbon with a meter stick than witch a ruler? It's better because it is better to measure it. Some measuring tools are longer than a ruler.
