After Honda released the MPG on the line of 2018 I started to suspect that there was an error or they were lying. One model claimed 38mpg that was really suspicions so I randomly selected 40 of that model and tested the true MPG. After running tests, it was determined that the average MPG was actually 35.2 MPG with standard deviation of 0.7 mpg.

Find the appropriate critical value for the problem.

What is the margin of error?

Construct and interpret a 95% confidence interval to estimate the true mean MPG of this model of car.

Is Honda’s claiming Plausible? (Read problem again to find their claim)

You work for Consumer Reports. They will only publish an article of Honda lying if you are sure that they are wrong by at least 2 MPG. You are to determine if the article should be run or not. Are you running it? Why or why not?
