I don’t get it.. can anyone help?

Basically you look at each word problem and come up with an equation:

it says that the boys are 5 times more than girls. So we use b to represent boys and g to represent girls and you would get 5b + g the number of feet is 12 times more than the number of inches. So we use i to represent inches and f to represent feet and you would get i = 12fin this equation f represents Fabian and l represents Luis so you would get 12 + ffor this one you would get 1.5i = oMonica represents m and Lisa represents l so you would get (m - 5.6) = l 2w = l where w is the width and l is the length
