A fish tank is filled with 60 gallons of water (full capacity). If it is drained, 8 gallon of water come out of the tank per minute.

a. How many gallon of water are drained at the mark of 2 minutes?

b. How many gallons of the remaining amount of water does the tank hold at the mark of 3 minutes?

C. Let the number of minutes water draining from the tank be x. Let the number of gallons of water remaining the tank be y. Writer and equation if I want to know about the number of gallons of water remaining in the tank.

d. Use the equation form part c to calculate how many minutes it takes for the tank to be empty (no water left in the tank.
