Electric power (p), measured in watts, is a function of (i), the amount of current flowing, measured in amperes. In a 120-volt circuit with a resistance of 20 ohms:

p(i) [_] 120i [_] 20i^2

Find the amount of amperes required to yield 100 watts or more in this electric circuit.

This is supposed to be an Algebra 2 question, but it seems suspiciously scientific to me. can anyone help out with this?
