A rectangular area with 200 quadrats contains 340 maple seedlings. Somebody claims that these 340 seedlings are completely randomly placed in this area. In order to test this claim, we count the maple seedlings in the first 20 quadrats and find 24 seedlings. Based on this number, we would like to test the null hypothesis that the first 20 quadrats have at least the average number of maple seedlings. Test this null hypothesis with a significance level of a = 0.05.
