The height in meters of a model rocket on a particular launch can be modeled by the equation h= -4.9t^2+102t+100, where t is the time in seconds after its engine burns out 100m above the ground. (it's ok if you only know one of the answers)
1.)will the rocket reach a height if 600m? what about 700m? use the discriminant to explain.
2.)how can the quadratic formula be used to determine how long the rocket stays in the air?
3.)how long does the rocket remain in the air? round to the nearest tenth.
