You are required to make and bring in a dessert or appetizer for a class party that will serve the
whole class (assume there are 30 students in your class). You will need to
1. Find a recipe for your favourite dessert or appetiser online or from a recipe book that serves
4-10 people and contains at least 8 ingredients
2. Use equivalent ratios to work out the amount of each ingredient required to serve ONE
person
3. Use equivalent ratios to work out the amount of each ingredient required to serve
classmates (30 people)
Things to note:
All working must be shown.
All measurements for the ingredients should be rounded to the nearest half where appropriate. (e. g
3.222 teaspoons becomes 3 teaspoons, while 3.666 teaspoons becomes 3.5)
