Trent was fishing from a pier. The tip of the fishing rod is 53 34 feet above the surface of the water. The hook on the end of the rod is directly below the fishing rod and it is 1223 feet below the surface of the water. Trent estimates the distance between the tip of the fishing rod and the hook to be 75 feet. Is Trent’s estimation reasonable. Why or why not?
