Nicola is trying to work out the cost of running the kiln. The kiln uses 9.5 kilowatts of electricity per hour. It takes 7 hours for the kiln to get to the correct temperature and Nicola fires ceramics for further 7 hours. She uses the formula below to calculate the cost. kWh x cost of electricity = total cost kW=kilowatt h=hour cost cost of electricity= 12p per kWh. What is the total cost to get the kiln to the correct temperature and fire the ceramics
