This activity will help you meet this educational goal: In this activity, you'll find where two equations are equal by graphing.
A community center holds an outdoor barbeque each year. In the first year, 96 people attended the event, and the venue
had a maximum capacity of 100 attendees. Each year since then, the event has grown in popularity by a factor of 30%. To
accommodate the growing crowd, the venue increased its ability to accommodate people by 100 people each year.

1. Write an equation modeling the growth in attendance at the barbecue
Graph the equation created

2. Write an equation that models the venues capacity as it changed over the years
Graph the equation created

3. Use your graphs and both equations to determine how long the venue will be able to accommodate the growing crowd if it maintains its plan for increasing capacity. Explain your answer.
