Sampling at Michigan GM Plants ~ General Motors (GM) has 48977 employees in Michigan and 20 plants located at different cities and towns in Michigan. Erin is a Labor Relations Specialist at GM Michigan operations. She is working on a new employee relations program and wants to collect and compile information about GM employees in Michigan. d. Erin attended the 2020 Employee Engagement and Experience Global Summit online. While there, she contacted the 74 Michigan employees who attended this summit and surveyed them to collect the information she needs.
e. Erin divides the plants based on the type of operation conducted in the plant. The operation types are Assembly, Stamping, Customer Care, Propulsion and Component facilities_ She randomly surveys 200 employees from Assembly, 50 employees from Stamping, 30 employees from Customer care, 100 employee from the propulsion and 110 employee from component facility.
