= ∠1 + ∠2 = 180° ( as they are a linear pair whose sum will be equal to 180° )

= 112° + ∠2 = 180°

= ∠2 = 180 - 112

= ∠2 = 68°

As we can see ∠2 = ∠3 = 68°

∠2 and ∠3 are corresponding angles , which means they will be equal if they are made on two parallel lines with a transversal .

As ,

= ∠2 = ∠3 ( corresponding angles in a transversal are equal )

= 68° = 68°

Therefore , line 1 and line 2 are parallel as their corresponding angles are equal .
