A box of king size Kit Kats costs $3 less than a box of king size Butterfinger (clearly the superior candy bar). A family purchased 7 boxes of Butterfingers and 5 boxes of Kit Kats just in case kids were foolish enough to trick or treat during a pandemic. They spent $103 on candy assuming they would eat it all themselves in the case of no trick or treaters. How much was each type of candy? (algebra 1)
