A.) Length= 2w-3 (w=width) 

B.) 11=2w-3

First, we add 3 to both sides... And we get
 14=2w

Next, we divide by 2 to get the w ( or width) by itself... and the answer would be 

7=w... So the width of the rectangle is 7meters
