I have 4 questions about functions. The 7th grade and the 8th grade are collecting food for Project Help. 7th grade starts with 7 items donated by a teacher and collects 5 items per day. The 8th grade starts with 20 items donated by a teacher and collects 8 items per day. Write an equation for each grade level. Which grade has a greater slope? Which grade has a great initial value?

The Arizona Cardinals are playing against the Dallas Cowboys. The Cardinals have 10,000 season ticket holders and 25,000 single game tickets bought per week. The Cowboys have 15,000 season ticket holders and 21,000 single game tickets bought per week. Compare the two teams rate of change and initial value.

Junior is looking into buying a new car. He has $2000 for a down payment and he wants to pay $250 per month. A Ford Mustang has the following equation for a special deal y=275x + 2500 and a Dodge Charger has a special deal of y=250x + 1500. Which deal would work better for him? Explain your answer.

Rhea wants to purchase a new home. The house on Main Street requires a $10,000 down payment and will be $900 a month on the loan. The other house she likes on Empire Road requires a $4000 down payment and is $1050 per month. Which house has a greater rate of change and what is it? Which house has a greater initial value and what is it?
