Why is using the metric system superior to using the standard system of someone i need this and i tried to search online but i wont show anything about this its due tommorow

Metric is used world-wide and is used everywhere except in english places (britan and USA)

some examples why metric is nice

metric is nice because everything is in multiplules of 10

and also this exerpt from a book
