Honors Module 4 Extension Directions: Read and answer all questions. Attach all documents in the dropbox below.

Use graph paper or any drawing software, create a figure with at least 6 coordinates on a grid. Give each coordinate a letter name, then dilate your original image on the same grid.

Give both new and old coordinates.

Describe the process of dilating your figure. Use complete sentences.

Are the two figures you created similar? Explain your answer using complete sentences.

Connect any two points on your original figure with a line. Connect the same corresponding points on the dilated figure with a line. What do you notice about the lines you created? What do you think would happen if you chose a different pair of points and the corresponding coordinates? Explain your answer using complete sentences.

Submit the both original and dilated figures on the grid, along with the answers to questions 1-4.
