The nth term of a sequence is given by Tn = 10n + 4. Put Tn < 100, and hence show that the nine terms T1 to T9 are less than 100. The answer is n is less than 9.6 and the answer says, hence, there are 9 terms, 1 to 9 less than 100.
But I don't understand how from this we can say 9 terms are less than 100. Can I please have an explanation?
