Since it is not perfect you have to estimate it and you use a numeric line to do it so in this case the square root of 92 would have to go in between the nearest perfect square roots from both sides which are 81 and 100. In the line you would see it as 9 and 10 and you have to estimate the value which in this case would be about 9.6
