A restaurant owner wants to see if there is a relationship between the amount of sugar in several of the food items on her menu and the number of orders of those menu items. She creates a scatter plot showing the relationship between amount of sugar in a menu item and the number of orders for that item on the menu. The correlation coefficient for the line of best fit is 0.58. a. Are they correlated?
b. Do either of the variables cause the other to change?
