A plant with edible roots Thanksgiving dinner, I am responsible for supplying the pie, the rolls, and tables. I do this every year. Mr. Patane brings the pie, rolls, and tables.
My very delicious pies are each cut into nine equal pieces. My excellent rolls are
baked and put into bags of 13 each. My tables can hold 15 people when full.
Last year was very successful for me. At the end of the feast, my last pie had four
pieces left. My last bag of rolls had 10 left inside. My last table was not full.
Now for the question. How many people came to my Thanksgiving feast? How
many people sat at the last table? All I can remember is that it was between 500
and 600 people. Oh, and each person ate one piece of pie, one roll, and sat at a
table. Show your work, thoughts, charts, diagrams, whatever it took to figure it
out.
