The function y=x^4+3x^2-5 is symmetrical across some axis. Determine, algebraically, the axis of symmetry. Create a table of values and use the function's symmetry to create a graph of the function. Show all work. My classes are online and come directly from a text book. The pages that have been shared with me about symmetry don't actually show anything about finding the axis of symmetry (at least not in this wording) and I am completely confused. Help?
