I looked at the numbers on the first triangle: 12 and 16. the difference of the two is 4. I though that you could just add 4 to 3 bc it said the triangles were similar- but they don't have 7 as an answer. so I picked 5 bc it was the closest.

for the second line i also looked at the first triangle and what it's numbers were: 12 and 20. I subtracted and got 8. then I looked back at the second triangle and added 8+3= i got 11. they don't have eleven as an answer so I picked 12.

I hope this helps bc I haven't done this since 6 grade I'm in 8th now.
