the coordinates of the vertices of triangle abc are a(-1,3), b(1,2) and c(-3,-1). determine the slope of each side of the triangle and use that information to determine if the triangle is a right triangle or not

There are many steps to find the coordinates of the vertices of triangle ABC. 
The slope formula is y2 - y1 / x2 - x1
There would be three equation associated with this problem. 

The first equation can be found by taking the x and y's from A and B 
First Equation: 2 - 3 / 1 - (-1)

The second equation can be found by taking the x and y's from B and C
Second Equation: -1 - 2 / -3 - 1

The third equation can be found by taking the x and y's from C and A
Third Equation:  3 - (-1) / -1 - (-3)
