What is median, and how do i solve this?

The median is the middle number

First put ur numbers in order...this is very important
42, 36, 49, 52, 61the middle number (the median) is 49

Just to let u know, if there is an odd number of numbers, there will be 1 middle number. But if there is an even numbers of numbers, there will be 2 middle numbers...in that case take those 2 middle numbers and divide by 2 to get the median.
