Use the graph of f(x)={x+3,x<−1−4x−2,x≥−1. The graph with X-coordinate marks -4, -2, 0, 2, 4 and Y-coordinate mark -4, -2, 0, 2, 4. There is function f which starts intersects y-axis at (0, -2), and the x-axis at (-0.5, 0), then it increases till (-1, 2) then decreases and intersects x-axis at (-3, 0).
