Ejemplos de incremento matemático que pueden ocurrir son:

-Suma: se adiciona una cantidad adicional a otra previamente existente. Ejemplo: 5 + 2 = 7, donde 5 es la cantidad inicial, y 2 es la cantidad adicional, sumando 7 como cantidad final.

-Multiplicación: aquí se adiciona el mismo número inicial tantas veces como su multiplicador indique. Ejemplo: 5 x 3 = 15, donde el número inicial 5 es sumado 3 veces (5 + 5 + 5) para dar un total de 15.

-Potenciación: en este caso se multiplica el mismo número por sí, por la cantidad de veces que indique el número potenciador. Ejemplo: 7^2, donde 7 es multiplicado por 7 dos veces, es decir, 7 x 7, cuyo resultado es 49.
