I am working on a statistical test problem. I have been given salaries for 2017 and 2018 years for Los Angeles County, approximately 10,000 records in 2017 and 9,000 records in 2018. I am trying to assess whether there was an increase in salaries between the years. My Lternative hypothesis is the records greater than 2016, and my null hypothesis is any records equal to or less than 2017.
How do I calculate the data?
