The bacteria in a local lab have overgrow their petri dishl According to reports, they have overrun the lab.
Luckily, according to researchers familiar with the
situation, the bacteria have grown past their carrying
capacity and will begin to die off. Each day, the bacteria will lose 2% of their population. Researchers say
when the bacteria numbers have dropped to 15% of their current population, people will be allowed back
into the lab. Using today (3/4/2021) as a starting point, when will the lab be reopened?

Create an equation to model the remaining amount of bacteria on any given day. On what day will the labs be reopened?
