How are parallel lines and angles related?

Parallel lines are two lines in a plane that do not intersect or touch each other at any point are said to be parallel. Angles are two lines that meet at one point. The distance between these line is called degrees. They are related because when you cross through a pair of parallel lines, you get several angles.
