The density of water is 1 gram per cm^3. An object floats in water if its density is less than water's density, and it sinks if its density is greater than water's.

Ms. Boozer goes golfing with some friends and cannot seem to keep her ball out of
the water. If her ball has a mass 17 grams and has a diameter of 4 centimeters, will
her ball float so that she can easily retrieve it? Show work to justify your reasoning.
