A tennis ball manufacturing company currently produces a cylindrical can with a height of 7.45 inches and a width of 2.7 inches. The company wants to minimize the amount of plastic that is wasted in the process of making each tennis ball can. To save money and minimize the amount of plastic wasted in the production of each tennis ball can, the company plans to change the width of the can to match that of the tennis balls they sell.
