The pressure in the Hartford Dam is building because of all the
melted snow from the winter. The lake behind the dam is as high
as it gets all year. The managers have decided to open three
floodgates on the dam. Each one is a different size, and that means
a different amount of water comes out of each one. The table below
shows the gallons per second coming out of each gate.
