8 cm respectively. The diagram on the right shows a uniform
cross-section of a slice of a cake in the form of a sector POQ
being cut out from the cylindrical cake with centre 0 and

a radius of 11 cm. It is given that ZPOQ = 40°.
(a) Calculate
(i) the perimeter of sector POQ, in cm,
(ii) the area of sector POQ, in cm²,
(iii) the volume of the piece of cake that has been cut out, in cm?.
(b) If the mass of a slice of the cake that has been cut out is 150 g, calculate the mass of the
whole cake, in grams.​
