(this are the exponent: -2, 2, 2)

a)the expression has a variable raised to a negative exponent.
b)the expression has a negative coefficient.
c)the expression has a variable raised to a fraction.
d)the expression has a variable in the denominator of a fraction.
i think the answer is a because an exponent cannot be a negative. however, i'm not sure if i'm correct. can someone me?
