6. A factory has two machines A and B. Machine A turns out 40 bottles of solvent per hour and machine B turns out 50 bottles of the same solvent per hour. On a particular day, the machines were used for a total of
14 hours and 660 bottles of the solvent were produced. Assuming that machines A and B were used for
x hours and y hours respectively, form two simultaneous equations in x and y. Solve the equations to find
how many hours each machine was used on that day.
