A researcher conducts a study of 4000 college athletes to evaluate a new blood test to detect concussion, comparing the new test to a diagnosis of concussion based on a comprehensive clinical examination by a neurologist (the current gold standard). The researcher finds that out of 400 athletes with a diagnosis of concussion, the new blood test correctly identifies 300. The researcher also finds that out of 3600 people without concussion, the test correctly labels 3200 as not having a concussion. Required:
a. Construct a contingency table from these data.
b. Calculate sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value.
