Number 9 is confusing me. how would i start working on it?

So this would be a multistep equation firs u would want to get ur whole numbers on one side and the ones with the variables on the other so u would have 5p=6p-7 then u would subtract 6p on both sides of the equation so u would have -1p=-7 then u would divide -1p to both sides then u would have p=7
