Can someone solve this and show their work ? i need the answer fast

Okay we know it takes him 12 minutes to run 400 meters.
Show this by writing 12 over 40 (12/400)
We're trying to figure out how long it will take him to run 1000 meters (which is also 1 kilometer)
so divide 1000 by 400 (1000/400 = 2.5)
Now multiply 2.5 and 12 (2.5 x 12 = 30)
So now we know it takes him 30 minutes to run 1000 meters (or 1 kilometer, same thing)

I believe it's just 30 minutes
400 divided by 6 equals 67, keep that in mind.
because he ran 6 times around the track to get 400 meters.
6 times 2 equals 12,

400 times 2 equals 800,

and then 12 times 2 equals 24.
Then I kept on adding 67 to 800 till I got 1001. Which was 3 more 67's.
So he takes 2 minutes to run 67 meters. 
So I multiplied 2 by 3 which equals 6. Then I added 6 to 24 which equals 30.
That's how I got 30.
Sorry if it sounds confusing because it was for me, so it  might be wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm right.

The answer is the numbers between =5 and 5
