a point is (5,1)
slope is 5/2

expand
y-1=5/2x-25/2
y=5/2x-23/2

standard form is ax+by=c where a is normally positive and a,b,c are whole numbers
so multiply everybody by 2
2y=5x-23
minus 5x both sides
-5x+2y=-23
times -1 both sides
