Ishaan is 3 times as old as christopher and is also 14 years older than christopher. how old is ishaan?

We know so far that Ishaan is 14 years older than Christopher. So what you need to do is divide 13 by 3 because Ishaan is 3 times as old as  Christopher. 

14 ÷ 3 =  4.6.

Ages can't really be decimals so a simple solution is to round it to the nearest whole number: which would be 5.

Now we know that Christopher is about 5 years old. 

To find Ishaan's age add 5 and 14 together.

Which is 19.
