Then we go up 6 units and then to the right 1 unit to land on (1, 2) which is the second point on the line. Once we have the two points, we can draw a straight line through (0,-4) and (1,2) to generate the graph for y = 6x-4. Similarly, we can follow the same basic steps for y = 5x-3 to get a straight line through (0,-3) and (1, 2)

Part B: The two lines will cross at (1,2), which is the point of intersection. It is the solution to the system of equations. The x & y paired values make BOTH equations true. If we plugged x = 1 and y = 2 into the equations we'd get equal results on both sides.
