divide both sides by 55
X=4
plug in the value of X into the simplest equation which is 3X-4Y=8
3x4-4Y=8
solve for Y to get it's value
Y=1
so your answer will be (4,1)
plug in the value of (x,Y) which is (4,1) to both equation to make sure it's right
