need some with this problem i keep messing a step

-10 - 2v < 6                   6v + 12 < -6
-2v < 6 + 10                  6v < -6 - 12
-2v < 16                        6v < -18
v > -16/2                       v < -18/6
v > -8                            v < -3

solution is : -8 < v < -3

X> -2 is the simplified version.
