Scientists wanted to investigate the probability of being infected with dengue fever in a coastal city in Mexico. The predictors were age, age of the person sampled, and sector, the sector of the city the person lived in. sector was coded 1 if the person lived in sector s2, and 0 if the person lived in sector s1. The following logistic regression model was fitted: log (π/1-π) = βo + β1age + β2sector

where π denotes the probability of being infected with dengue fever.

Required:
a. What are the estimated odds of being infected with dengue fever for a person aged 50 living in sector s2? What is the corresponding probability of being infected for this person?
b. Obtain a 95% confidence interval for 131. Interpret this interval in terms of odds or odds ratio.
